Camp Questions
Camp Questions
What is your goal for camp? My goal for camp is that I want to do all the activity's as possible and challenge myself if they are easy the first time round.
Why are you coming on cap? I am coming on camp because I want to learn new things and make more connections.
What Skills, strengths, qualities, powers do you posses that will help you have a really successful camp experience? My skills I would need for ca,p would be resilience, being me and connecting because you need to connect at camp and make sure you are being yourself and not giving up. The strengths that I would need for camp is bravery so that i can keep telling myself that I can do this, Curiosity so that i could be curious of how I can achieve the challenge or task that has been set for me, and Creativity so that I can make creative and unique ways how to do the challenges.
What will you do if you have a problem at camp? Who will you speak to? What wil help you solve your problem? If I had a problem at camp I would stay calm and go tell my mum but if she is not avalible I would tell a teacher. I will try and figure out what is wrong or go and ask if my mum or the teachers have any ideas for the problem.
How will you be an effective team member in your car group, activity group and cabin group? What will we see or hear? I would be cheering them on, keeping positive and giving some positive feedback and you would see my giving them high fives and making sure they are having a great time.

How much pee is in public pools?
What happened: A Canadian has found a large pool with about 830,000 litres that could contain 75 liters of urine. People are finding pools that have a few liters of urine in it.So they are doing tests to see how much urine is in public pools. The people involved in the event was the scientists, Canadians and Lindsay Blackstock. It happened on the Friday the 7th of March 2017, This event occurred in Canada’s public pools. It happened because little kids and older kids were too lazy to get out of the pool. People’s children have been too disrespectful for their accidents in the public pools. Our opinion is that children in many parts of the world should not be doing their toileting time in the public pools where everyone swims, and that the people in charge of the pools should put stuff in the pool so that when someone goes toileting in the pool the public will know. We got the information from kidsnews. Question 1: Why do people not use the public toilets. Question 2: Why don’t people like to respect the pool grounds? Our 3 words and meanings are developed and it means that it is an advanced or elaborated to a specified degree, evidence and it means that an available body of facts or information is recognised and sample means that someone is taking a sample/s of something to analyze.

Our Animals
Our Animals
My family and I live on a farm but not a very big farm we have 3 acres our animals are 2 cows,12 chickens, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Our Cats name is Kit Kat and our dog's names are Penny and Wendy. Our animals are very important to us but we use the cows and sheep for meat. I love the animals and Matthew and I look after the cows and chickens, I do the cows and he does the chickens. We have to do them every day before and after school. I am very excited for when one of our cows are going to have a calf.
When I am older I want to have lots of animals, I would care for them when they are sick, play with them when they are bored, but that would be a lot of work so probably only like 2 animals that are house animals but if I live on a property with say 2 or 3 Akers or something I may have farm animals but I don't know because who knows where I will be when I come to that day.

Yellow Fever Wiping Out Monkeys
The yellow fever is basically wiping out all the muriqui monkeys in the Atlantic. There has been around about 400 monkeys found dead lying on the ground in Espirito Santo. It happened on the 22nd of February 2017 this year. It happened in Espirito Santo near the Atlantics. It got spread from the tropics. The same type of mosquitoes spread the disease among all the muriqui monkeys, that same mosquito gave some of New Zealand the Zika virus and the Muriqui can’t be vaccinated like we can. Our opinion: Our opinion is that we want to keep some monkeys in captivity because we want at least some to be alive so they can breed, and not go extinct because they are not far from that. We got this information from kiwikidsnews.co.nz online. One question that I’m curious about is “are their still going to be these types of monkeys left around the world in certain areas. Our three words and meanings are: dengue means that a disease in the tropics is transmitted by the mosquitoes. Transmitted means that something passes from person to person. Outbreak means that something is unwelcome like a disease or war. Go here to find the story from Kiwi Kids News
My IE
My IE
My IE is going to be based around Animal's Habitats and Why it's important for animals to be in their natural habitats? I choose this because I am very curious about all the habitats in the world and what animals live in what habitats, I also love animals so that is on of the other reasons. What I want to do to show my learning is make a poster with all my facts and answers, but I am also going to make a cardboard habitat with everything around it and what animals live their. I hope that I can understand more about the animals so I can get more knowledge about them and more about their habitats and the outside world. The knowledge that I need is my reading and exploring like on the Internet. I hope that I can do my writing and reading more competently. The learning powers that I will need is Curiosity, Creativity and Being me.
